Getting the Word Out
AABA has produced a video, Atlantic
Avenue Is a Destination Not a Highway:
Lift the Parking Ban, documenting the
October rally and airing comments by merchants and Councilman David Yassky.
The video shows that the ban is unnecessary
and detrimental to efficient traffic
flow. To gain support in lifting the ban,
AABA has distributed the video to
local elected officials, the mayor, Downtown
Brooklyn Partnership, the City
Department of Small Business Services and the DOT.
